On Friday night, many hands made for light work as RMRR Host Heath & Waymaker Co-Host Lily partnered up with Redemption Squad Ministry to assemble, load and pray over 185 provision boxes to be passed out today to a local neighborhood in need.
This morning volunteers met at 10am at Radiant Church’s Central Campus for instruction, prayer and communion before hitting the streets of Colorado Springs. Today Redemption Squad partnered with The Jesus Church, a local Colorado Springs church who was wanting to impact their local neighborhood and spread awareness of not only their church, but the love of Jesus.
As with previous outings, this local neighborhood had not been viewed as a good one in some time and had been “blacklisted” by other ministries and local outreach organizations. So that made this the perfect location and partnership for Redemption Squad. Temperatures were cool and the wind was blowing, but that didn’t stop the Squad. We can’t even begin to express the gratitude of the lives touched today. There were so many amazing testimonies shared at the end of the day. God was certainly with us as we moved today. He is doing some new and amazing things for sure.
